Tony Moloney started his working life in the Army, followed by short spells as a long distance lorry driver and a window cleaner before joining the fire service in Manchester.

In 1994 he set up his first business, Aunt Sallys Ltd., a food company which supplied the UK supermarkets. It grew to a £5m turnover by 1999 when Tony merged the business with Food from Scotland.

In 2001 Tony sold his shares in Food from Scotland and set up Anthony Alan Foods, specifically to produce low fat products, winning the UK licence to manufacture cakes under the Weight Watchers brand.

As commercial director Tony developed a unique business model by applying a mixture of military and fire service management structures.

In its first four years it achieved organic growth of 7,600% and reached a turnover of £20.6m.

Under Tony's leadership Anthony Alan Foods was awarded 'Business of the Year' and the award for 'Outstanding Business Achievement'.

In mid 2007 Tony headed the management team that bought bakery supplier Enterprise Foods for £4.5m shilst completing the sale of Anthony Alan Foods to Finsbury Food Group for £6.5m.

Tony and his team have taken Enterprise Foods from £22m in sales in 2007 to £44m in 2010.

In 2004 Tony was awarded 'Entrepreneur of the Year' by the National Business Awards, beating the likes of Duncan Bannatyne. A few weeks later the Chamber of Commerce voted him their 'Entrepreneur of the Year'.
